Colds remedies/medicines for breastfeeding moms

I read below that you already checked with your Dr. I had a cold when I was nursing & I called & asked the Dr. on call at the hospital what I could take so it was some tylenol cold or something (can't exactly remember) & I guess it had ephedrine in it & my little girl was awake all night long. So, just make sure whatever medicine you do take-- to write it down & make sure you write down and changes in your child when your taking this medicine. Even though it's okay to use while your nursing, it can still ahve an effect on your child. Good luck. As far as anything else-- I think your Dr. is your best bet.
