Try some other things that won't effect you, just to forget them. Free yourself in your past, find a friend that will understand your situation and do not waste your life in such not important manner, always remember that you are not alone in this world.

I have experienced the same thing when depression strikes. The best thing to deal with it is face it, acknowledge the fact that you are depressed, then make corrective measures to lessen and eradicate it from your system. Keep yourself busy with work or school. Join organizations that promote camaraderie, interaction, and social responsiblity. Go to church. Pray hard. Talk to God when you cannot meet your friends up. Thinks that they are busy and have better things to attend to. They might be sharing the same situation you are into. Do not forget to be positive and smile a lot. It will help you a lot. Stick to your senses. You can do it girl! :)

I have to completely agree with howiedy. I am just coming out of a long depression. I think that facing it is the best thing you can do as then you can begin to fight it you have to accept it before you can start the battle. When I felt my lowest I had no one to turn to I was too embarrassed to talk to friends or family as I didn't want to sound like I was moaning or being a drama queen as I know everyone has there issues. I turned to the internet for help, searching for suppport, I came across some self diagnosis tests which I took and found out that I had clinical depression, this helped as I felt that I wasn't just making a big deal out of nothing. I cried a lot that night but I have not cried since (it was about three weeks a go). The best think to do is to keep active and with people - depression thrives when you are sitting doing nothing alone with your thoughts. I know that when you are depressed it is hard to get out of bed let alone go out socially but even if it is just for an hour for a coffee with one friend or a walk round the block. I also had stopped caring about my appearance and refused to even look in a mirror if this is the same for you have a long hot path pamper yourself and do whatever you do to make yourself feel more confident - giving myself a new hairstyle and heraring the compliments did wonders for me. Praying helped me a lot but if you are not religious this doesn't matter just remember that there are loads of people out there that love you and care so much about you. Just a couple of days a go I found out how important I was to one particular friend and just being so needed helped me but before then I didn't even realise half of things that she was going through and how much she depended on me. There are millions out there in the same situation and I have found the internet a great source of mutual support. We are all there to help each other through this tough time. God bless.

I think internet is some kind depressing, it leads to depressions if you spend a lot of time in front of the pc, my advice is to spend time with others, go to the disco, go to cinema, go on a trip, get a vacation, there are a lot of things to do, cool things, don't forget small things makes you happy !!!
