When do you start given your baby water?

Actually,given a newborn baby water can be dangerous,it can lower their bodies salt levels and put them into a type of shock. damage the kidney and yes can even lead to death(it's called water intoxication.Infants get all the water they need from formula and breast milk.

my kids were all a few months old before i did. the dr. told me to. i never gave them alot at a time, but it did help keep them from not trying anything else.
