Oasis, legends or Beatles rip-offs

In my opinion they are absolute legends and infact better than the Beatles.
Noel and Liam are the first to admit that they are influenced by the Beatles but, as someone who is at an age to have listened greatly to both groups, i cannot see where people are coming from when they say they rip them off.

nope...they are not rip offs...come on, these guys single handedly turned alternative rock into mainstream music....and i just love the classic yet mordern sound they have..

They aren't rip-offs. Maybe mentally rip-offs, like how they react and they still admire John Lennon to this day, but every british band with attitude (you know what i mean :)) does react like that so nothing strange about it.
The sound is quite unique. It isn't a Beatles sound and it was very refreshing in time that Nirvana went very big (who sung I hate myself and I wanna die) while Oasis sung Live Forever!

Oasis is oasis! They may be influenced by Beatles, which is really great anyway, but I think Oasis' songs and style are totally unique, and totally not-very-beatles. So I don't get why people say their rip-offs. Legends - Oasis.

I also think that they aren't a Beatle rip off. They have a unique sound. I think they are one of the best bands in the world. I can't wait till the solo album of Noel Gallagher. I think it is going to be great.
