Indoor gardening

Has anyone tried growing vegetables indoors over the winter months. I would like to have a few red bell pepper plants because I refuse to pay $4 a piece for them. I have never tried it so I wondered how feasible it would be.

as expert of gardening i advise you not to implant indoor plants during winter months coz plants in general are resting in winter months
