I just gave birth to a new baby girl on December 27th. She was 9 lbs. 3 oz., and we named her Audrey!
Any other New mom's out there? What has been the most difficult adjustment for you? Anyone going to be a stay at home mom? or going back to work?
So far brst feeding has been a challenge but I won't give up! The sleep deprivation is pretty crazy too.
I'm working on staying home by building a new website but I'll probably have to go back to work for a lil while til it takes off.

Congratulations on your new bundle! I'm not a "new" mom, but i've been one three times :). I think the biggest adjustment was the sleeping. My youngest didn't sleep for a year, honest! lol, but it's all worth it in the end. I am currently a stay at home mom and there is nothing better in this world than the love we receive from our children. It makes life worthwhile for sure. Enjoy your little one.

I am also a new Mom. I gave birth to my son, Oliver September 14th.
The most difficult adjustment would bee the lack of sleep, although that is better now that he is 4 months old.
I will go back to work in September, when he is 1 year old. Until then I will stay at home. In Norway were I live we get paid 80% of our salary and can stay home with the kid the first year.

Well ... first off congratulations on the new baby. I'm not a "new" mom because my daughter is 8 months old but she is fairly new lol. I would say the biggest struggle that I faced was for the first 3 months my daughter had colic really bad. Some nights I wouldn't get to bed at all. I had pulled a lot of all nighters, was tired as hell, and kept wondering what I was doing wrong. On her 3 month check-up the doctor told me that their is no cure for colic, and its not something your doing wrong or not doing. My only hope is some day they will find out more about it because that was hard to deal with. I am a stay at home mom, and I was told for ten years that I couldn't have children so I cherish her that much more!! Thats why her first name is Angelina (for my angel-miracle baby.)
