own your own restaurant or manage someone elses?

what would be better??? put up with the headache of your own establishment or someone elses??? Someday I would love to run a restaurant, but not sure if I would want to own or just manage one. I know there are pros and cons to both but would like others opinions on their experiences!!! thanks to all who respond.
