No I don't agree that money buys happiness. Money only buys material items, it cannot buy love, self esteem, self confidence, or any of the other emotional things we need to survive in life.

I dont think that you can either, but It can make a situation easier and then you may become happier as the result. But I dont think having a lot of money would make me happy! MY KIDS DO!!

Hello! Sorry it took so long to start writing to you! There is a lot of people that think that they can be happy having a lot o money. I do not believe in that. Most of the time money just brings up problems.

No, not for me, happiness is my family, friends, life and thankfulness that I have a home, and food and clothes on my back and clothes on my kid's back, and being healthy. I look at what these 3rd world countries don't have and feel bad, but fortunate that I am where I am, and money doesn't have anything to do with it for my situation. If I were to attain lots of money I would help those countries in need and help homeless people in the US. I would try to make our world a better place to live. Money would alleviate some financial strains in my life, but I think my happiness factor wouldn't change.

Absolutely not. I know people who have money and are miserable. You and others around you need to make you happy. Money can buy you material things that can cheer you up, but not truly make you happy.

My answer is NO. Money doesn’t buy happiness, it just pays for temporary amusement. All of the happiness I have felt in my life, never came from materials, it came from friends and loved one. Most of all from my goals I have achieved. These things are priceless and beyond money in my opinion.

No, not at all. Money buys pleasure, which is the illusion of happiness.

Sure you could. Temporary happiness, then you can turn around buy a therapists time to help you figure out what you did, why you did or why you didn't. Money can fix many problems but it can not seriously buy HAPPINESS. If your happiness is something so simple as a new car..then of course money can buy happiness. If a lonely man goes walking on a strip & bumps into a chick named Happiness who just so happens to be a self employed salesperson ...then yes I guess you can buy happiness again.

Money cant buy all happiness, But i do agree that money is an important tool to achieve happiness. Well, at least i foresee a lot of unhappiness to arise from insufficient cash ^^
