Should women be paid for their eggs?

Maybe they should, it would increase the number of egg "doner's" by alot, and would provide the chance of children to many sterile couples in the world. With eggs being sold, if stem cell research was allowd, their would be much more stem cells.
When specialists extract an egg from a woman, it is grown in a petri dish for a few weeks, then re implanted to produce a baby.
But the ones they dont re-implant, are essentially stem cells.
It really confuses me where people get the idea that stem cell research involves aborted fetuses.
These stem cells from eggs should be allowed to be used, because otherwise, they are just thrown away!

I think that it is quite fair for women to be paid for their eggs, because I have heard that it is quite a painful and tiring procedure isnt it? But I guess some women would be hurt if offer money for it. Some might think that it is an honour for them to provide eggs and help couples to have kids.
