Would you have liked to live in the past or the present?

I often think living in the past was easier. Life would have been so uncomplicated back then-- no television, no cars, no pollution, no inflation. All you had to worry about was what you would be eating at the next meal and how to feed your children. Nowadays, things seem to be too complicated. What are your thoughts on the matter?

I always wondered what it would've been like to live in the 1800's when things were beginning to become invented or you had to live off the land. It would've been interesting and an experience to live that way.

Sometimes I think that I would like to but then I realize all the cocveniences that I'd miss. If I had a time machine I would go back to a few times in history, but otherwise I'm ok with the present for now.
