Has anyone ever met someone famous or a celebrity? How was it and how did it make you feel if anything?

I have met 6 of the 10 American Idols, including Chris and Taylor and I have met Mandy Moore.

Oh and I met Judith Magyar Isaacson, author of Seed of Sarah, an amazing book about the holocaust.

when i was in college i belonged to phi beta lambda the collegiate end of future business leaders of america. we had a state conference that our school hosted. my accounting teacher is married to an ex pittsburgh steeler and he played many moons ago with franco harris. her hubby got franco as our keynote speaker. we met in my room as i was moving out and he was moving in. i was very intimidated at the time because he is a "BIG" guy. after the evening was over, tho, we all sat around drinking and talking. then i realized he was just a big teddy bear. thanks for a wonderful evening franco, i'll never forget it. i ended up meeting his brother and dating him for awhile. he was closer to my age and went to school at penn state, which was in our home town.

wow, that's great. It must've felt good realizing he was just being himself and chatting as if his celebrity didn't matter. Especially when a lot of people tend to place celebrities on a pedestal. I had heard stories from other people who met the person they idolized or were a fan of, only to be disappointed by how arrogant and pretentious they turned out......

I have only met local celebrities like news personalities and local bands. It was cool meeting Scott Baker from our news team, and he was so nice offered to help my friend with getting into the business and stuff.

Yes, Jerome Bettis, He was such a sweetheart; Very down to earth. He actually took the time to talk to me about his family and Notre Dame. Great Guy. Also met Carl Banks at the Super Bowl last year.
