I guess following Chelsea's loss and Manchester United's lost in both pulsating matches, the title race now is now totally blown all over the place. These teams have shown their ability to win Europe's top silverware yet chances in my opinion, they may have improved and have a huge chance in winning the Champions League, it all comes down again to the domestic league where the 4 teams slaughter each other out, each of them with their teams defense and tactics exposed by their rivals, it leaves their European counterparts from Italy, Spain and other parts of Europe gaining the advantage plus not to mention the injuries sustained by these Premier league sides.
My predictions:
Arsenal- chances are the title race is out of their grips but with them at their best, Europe stands a chance as long as they can overcome their nightmare Barcelona.
Chelsea- title race will be fought till the end. Sadly with all the injuries at hand, Mourinho have lost is poker game and only if Shevchenko finds his form, everything is possible. FA cup can come in handy as a compensation.
Liverpool- Underdogs of both tournaments. If Benitez can find a good defender and beef up the defense vulnerabilities at the back, they can have a sniff at one of the trophies.
Manchester United- Everything is still for them to choose or decide which one they are focusing on. Title race is definitely up to fight till the end and having Chelsea sniffing their back while losing points on the way at times they don't expected it, they need to lift their game.
cheers
