Do you believe that Peace is possible?

I believe that peace is possible, but that people will need to change their attitudes, which normally involve attacking anything they disagree with, or which looks different.

The short answer is NO .. while we have so many different religions and while folks can't or won't stop to actually listen to each other there will never be a planetary peace .. ! That doesn't stop us from trying though does it :o)

i think anything is possible. i think we can have peace if we really understood what peace is. peace is not greed, or envy. peace in not jealousy or hate. peace is love which states, i want the best for you rather i am with you or not. can we get the whole world to think this way. we can only pray.

I don't see how it could ever be possible no matter how much everyone in the world wants it. Everyone has their own opinions, and that is the main problem. We disagree with each other which leads to arguements and wars and so on. If we all thought the same and agreed on everything, yes peace is possible. It isn't going to happen as much as I want it to.

No, i dont' think we will ever have peace on this planet. Somewhere, someone will disagree about something and they will have at it. And then there will be a big fight/war. It seems to me that no one really tries to get along. They like fighting about things.

I think man will never learn but the internet may help as we talk to people from all over the world we will learn to respect their cultures and beliefs and realise that they are just like us so hopefully one day we can live in peace and the planet will be safe from mans polution.

I checked on your site, I also signed your guest book. Peace is such a wonderful thing, I love peace and harmony. I do not believe our world will ever have total peace, I truly wish that we could. I believe that we all have a wonderful opportunity here on mylot to promote friendlyness and peace. Mylot is a friendly place, we have people from all over the world here on mylot. No I do not ever think that there will be peace on this earth as the human being is too gready and wants too much for themselves to ever have peace, I do believe it will get worse until the coming of our lord and so far what is written in revelations in the bible has come true.

As much as I wish it were possible, I don't think I'll see it in my lifetime. Things would have to change dramatically for that to happen.
