Half empty or half full? I look at it as simply, there is more room for more stuff! peace Dissposition

I think that is a great way to look at it...that there is more room for some more stuff. I see the glass as half full because that means I still have some. Why should I look at only what I am missing? If I always looked at what I was missing, I would not be able to enjoy what I did have.

this makes you ....YOU! and is your unique perspective! I think anyway which we choose to view the glass is good, as long as we are motivated by our response to life(the glass) peace

I see the glass as half full, I like to be optomistic about life. I do like how you see the glass, room for more stuff, haha.

Do you know I always have a problem when anyone asks this or talks about a half full or half empty glass .. because for me the glass is simple 'halfway' .. neither option really fits .. I know I have drunk half and I know I have half left .. just as my life is half way over (or realistically more than half) .. and I only have half left ... if I worry about either option I am merely wasting time !

ms. patooie....time is best spent, simply wasting it away, as long as we experience and "learn" the wasting of our time is simply...money well spent! have you ever thought of "wasting" some time writing a children's book?....I only know you from mylot, but I have wanted to suggest this to you for a while now. I think you'd rock as a story book writer for children, perhaps when you are done ...I could illustrate it for you? peace patooie!

Shakespeare said "we are such stuff/as dreams are made on" I think whether half empty or half full depends upon only on our thoughts. There are no such things in reality.Basically it specify a person optimist or pessimist, but it vary from situation to situation, man to man. From my opinion we are always thankful to God for which amount of stuff those are given to us.Don't worry for that those we aren't found.Always trying to have positive attitude even those are thought their room of life are half empty of happiness,dreams,success...etc.

I see it as about 3/4 full and I want to know why it is not overflowing! I love my life, yeah there are problem but I am still happy inside regardless. Sometimes I have days where someone has nicked the glass but I have good friends who go find another and refill it for me.

I always see the glass as half full, and my next thought is to drink its content and empty it (Looks a bit selfish). Everything for me is an opportuinity to exploit. So even if the glass is completely empty, I will mix myself a drink and enjoy it.

it depends on the situation. to keep my head straight i always try to look as the glass half full because otherwise i will stress too much. but this is where my boyfriend and i are so great together, when i start being negative about things he points out the positive and i do the same to him when he starts talking negative i will point out the positive.

I had a good friend point out to me that the glass is always full. Half full with water and half full with air. Made me take a different look at things with that comment. Made me realize that we might need to look at things from a different perspective to get a good understanding of what is in our lives.

Well, I try my best to see it as half full and be positive, optomistic and all that happy, fluffy, psych babble. However, what ususally happens is that I say, this is only half full, I must have spilled some. Then I get all down on myself, negative, depressed and all that psych babble. ....Just kidding, I am much like you, I just see it as needing more! Emotionless. Maybe that's what's wrong with me? Have we stumbled here upon the great new psych therory. Bag Freud, Piaget, Erikson, we have the new therory! What shall we name it?!

Always half empty! there's always room for more stuff in there! once you let your ambitions down you get stagnant, i dont want that to happen not just yet anyways
