There is a man who lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Everyday he gets the elevator down to the ground floor to leave the building to go to work. Upon returning from the work though, he can only travel half way up in the lift and has to walk the rest on the way unless its raining! WHY????

Think I know this one. The guy is vertically challenged and can only reach the lower buttons of the elevator. When it rains, he carries an umbrella with him and uses it to push the buttons for the higher levels.
