If two kids were caught fighting, with no witnesses...other than you..

should one kid be believed over the other, as to who started it? Should only the one starting it be disciplined. Talking High School ages....

By high school the punishment should be the same. UNLESS one child has a history of being a bully and starting fights and/or attacking other children. The mitagating circumstance should be previous behavior, has one child been in trouble for fighting on multiple occasions and the other child never been in trouble for fighting? Youngsters that are chronic offenders need to be punished more severely.

both kids have histories with fighting to protect themselves or just starting it.

it takes two to fight so i beleive both should be punished thats how i always did my two kids
