Yes, when I was five, the tornado alarm went off, my mother grabbed me and her then-husband grabbed my sisters. We went to my neighbors in their basement, it was the type of basement were there was a little window you could see out of at the top, I looked out the window, it was the most horrifying thing ever, I watched my dog get ripped up and torn to shreds by it. It's one thing I will never be able to get out of the back of my mind.

I have been in a tornado too,by the grace of God my dad and I had been working on digging our own basement, had got this little one room very small basement, big enough for our family of 6 to get into along with some canned food and we got there just in time one evening in November of all months to have a tornado and its agood thing we did because our home got ripped apart, my bedroom was into pieces. But God saved our lives.

My first experience with a tornado was when I was 8 yrs old and we were in school!! The siren went off and the Nuns (yes I went to Catholic school) screamed for everyone to get in the hall way. It was to late the sound of a train was getting louder and louder and the whole school was shaking and you felt like something was pulling you up from the ground by your head!! We went under our desk then suddenly a tree came flying through the class room!! It was the scariest thing!!! The other time that stood out was when my grandfather was having a triple bypass surgery in Abiene TX and my grandmother hadn't eaten all day. So my mother, Aunt and I decided to take her out to get something!! All of suden after we ate and were heading back to the hospital the sirens started going off and it got really dark and still!!! I was driving and my mom and aunt looked to the right of us and there were 3 tornados heading towards us and then my grandmother looks behind us and there is another one!!! I drove like 100 miles to get to the hospital!! We got there, parked in the front, jumped out and ran in the hospital! They had everyone in the hallway and my grandfather was still in surgery! The tornado hit the hospital and we lost electricity and were sitting in the hallway freaking out!!!

I never saw the actual tornado but I have experienced one. About 2 years ago a tornado ripped down my street, luckily my house was unaffected. The good news is that no one was hurt but there were flipped over cars, smashed windows and a roof off of a house. Pretty scary..

I have never seen a tornado per se, but have seen numerous wall clouds, funnel clouds, and skies that looked like they would produce a tornado at any time. The whole green thing, hail, the swirl of clouds. Terrifying.

I have seen 4 that I recall, and was apparently "chased" by one as a baby. The first 3 I remember were all seen simultaneously during a supercell event in Oklahoma in the mid 70s. All three were visible at the same time, and they were all three BIG. It was scary as hell. The 4th I saw in the mid 80s in Texas on a perfectly clear day (except for the one cloud that had a tornado coming down out of it). That one was surreal and bizarre at the same time.
