The charecter from hindu mythelogy and Jesus from christen religion, I think are same with each other.
The pain in there life was almost similar.
Both of them suffered equal punishment from the people arround.
Jesus was crucified and rama was left to get crucified as such on many occasions.
I mean none of both lived happily.

I totally agree with thompson but what i have to say is they both were human being but they did great thing for their pupil n gave their life for them.Rama is from India n here is a saying " ram rajya".It means kingdom like it was in rama era.Its said because all the people of his time was very happy and satisfied. There was no difference between rich and poor..there was enough to feed all.in all sense it is said Rama kingdom era was the best era.Rama life is not about only war.Its much more than that.He killed Ravana ,though Ravana was the "Bhakt" or worshiper of lord Siva and was the the most learned man.But his deeds made him a beast.
Similarly Jesus also sacrificed his life for his people and used his power to heal people for there better meant.
So in one way or the other they both have same spirit just name is different.

no i dont think so that Rama and Jesus are the same. Both of them have their own history. It would be rather not fair to compare them. Both of the gods had their own hardships and both the gods are respected in their own holy places.
