what age should children stay home alone?

At what age do you think it is ok for a child to stay home by themselfs?

I think that it all depends how responsible the child is,
but I don't think they should until they are at least 12..

Yes I think you are right..
I couldn't think of an age right off, that is why I said maybe 12, or mature.. Mine aren't old enough to make that decision yet

I think under 12 is against the law in most places , but I myself would be scared to leave them alone even if older now days u never know what may happen, even if that child is responsible there are so many bad people out there
