do you think mtv is too much?

Materialism, subtle profanity and subliminal messages are being sent to its viewers. I know its entertainment, but does it have to be brutal for kids to see? Like JACK A++, PIMP MY RIDE, and other segments. This is just my opinion. What do you think?

I think MTV is NOT for kids. They have shows like Jack a** because they're market is not kids, but teens to adults. That's why parents should watch what their kids are watching. Or at least help mtv in reminding these kids that the following shows are not meant for them.

Here's the thing, parents are supposed to watch what their kids are watching, but how can they do it all the time when they are exhausted from work. Right? And kids nowadays are smarter than you think.

ugh i hate MTV, ive even taken it off of the channel list. MTV USED to be a great music video channel! i remember watching the very first video they played! then they started all these sad excuses for shows and i dont even think they play videos anymore...at least nothing but rap the last time i watched the channel. waste of time, and is a bad influence on the young for sure.

That is true. They have stupid reality shows with jessica Simpson or the Gotti family in it. Even the Osbornes. Showing misbehaving kids, promoting promiscuity and disrespect for adults. Not good!
