I say Carrier. I've quit my carrier in order to get married and now I see how wrong I was. The only positive that came out of this marriage was my son.

Yeah! This is my son. People always say to me that he is adorable and funny and smart. I'm even surprised some times. He seems like he was born knowing stuff. Weird? May be it was because during my pregnancy I always talked to him and I was watching documentaries and stuff. The only thing I didn't do was to listen to music.
And believe me I won't bring the past into my future!

I choose Career also...At the moment I stay home...I'm 32weeks pregnant! So I'm almost there...I don't know why ANYONE would choose just to live a MARRIED life and stay HOME!!! With or without children...what if the husband happened to dissapear, leave you or die? What are you left with? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

From a guys perspective... why do women see marriage and career as opposing? Cant both partners have careers or is it about kids? Just trying to understand... :)

Ummm...I have both. I have a masters in photography and am going to college again to acquire a bachelors in elementary ducation and I am married with children. You can have it all. It really gives you the opportunity to know about yourself and still have The family that you long for. We both work and spend as much time with the kids as possible and it all works out just fine.

I think life is always about balance. I beleive a career is very improtant because it can provide a strong sense of direction, purpose and independance. But at the same time, life without a deep and meaningful relationship with a partner that you love more than anyone or anything in the world, can be shallow and meaningless... I think we need both in life. I for one, would be the happiest person alive if I could find the love of my my and have a rewarding career... but if I had to choose, I would choose love first.
