We're Building a Community! Come Climb™ With Us!

The studio division of my company has started a community dedicated to helping aspiring artists, models, photographers, actors, musicians and dancers! It's called Climb™, and our goal is to educate young people on career paths in the arts and how to get involved. I want to focus primarily on helping people get started. So we're planning some seminar sessions where we'll provide useful information on these career fields, offer advice and contact information for agencies, share experiences, answer questions and offer some start-up services like beginner's photo portfolios, discounted website design, discounted graphics design and the opportunity to network with others. I need some feedback from others. I am currently trying to spread the word about our community, and need a few ideas on how to recruit/drum up interest. I also need some ideas on where to hold a seminar like this in our local area (we're not trying to spend a whole lot of money on the location, and we're looking for places that people can easily find). I have thought about the public library, as some of them have an auditorium-like room and will rent it out with enough notice. Any other ideas? And if you have ideas on any other services we can offer, feel free to post. I really want this to be successful, so the more feedback the better!
