have you ever been screwed over by your bestfriend?

my bestfriend of 10 years ended up ripping me off with about 25 dollars..i dont want to go into how it happened but i confronted her about it and she was really mean to be about it (she knows she was caught) so i have decided not to talk to her anymore. i know its the right choice but i find it hard that you would screw ur best friend over, friends are suppose to be forever. she used me for many many years and i let her do it because in my eyes thats what friends are for, she used my washer dryer i never wanted money although my husband got mad becuase i did ask her for money thats what friends are for right? i wanna know how many of you have been screwed by your best friend and are you still friends with them

I have been walked on by friends so many times that it's a wonder I still even want to make friends with anyone. I have had many friends that I would help out with either their kids, money things etc etc and when I needed help they were never available. I am not friends with those people anymore, because it is not a true friendship if one is either stealing from another or they are in a sense using and abusing the "friendship".
I think you did the right thing by confronting her about stealing money from you. It's not only wrong, but afterall I am sure if you had it to give if she would have asked you would have given that money to her.

you are sooo right i would do anything for my friends and they know it and all she would have had to do was ask for the money and i would have helped her out. i dont need people like that in my life and it will be hard to trust people again!
