How do you stop hackers accessing your personal data?

The best way is to change your passwords frequently,make sure your computers are free of malware and never give out your personal information online unless you are 100% sure it is a safe website,such as your bank or something...If you are on a wireless connection,make sure your connection is encrypted and not open for the world to see.

download a firewall progam and anti virus program.also if you using wi fi download both these programs.mi wifi zone and hotspotshield by anchorfree make sure they bot are running when surfing please read the directions.also lock your wi fi signals.check out downoad.com for free downloads.get the free download dont bother with demos

You gave some really good points that everyone should follow. Also you should have a very good Firewall on you computer especially if you are on DSL, Cable or Boardband and a good Virus scanner turned on at all times. Plus don't fall for fake E-Mails saying they are from like your Bank, E-Gold or even PayPal. When you get one the best thing to do is go to the real site and not a link that is in the E-Mail.
Always be careful not to download from strangers also as they usually have a trojan or a key logger program that will get your information without you know it.
