should english be taught from nursery in vernacular schools?

in this era of competition we need to be advanced from beginning of life. we know that everybody is not born with same intelligence. we have to raise and improve our talents,skills and confidence to a such level in which we can compete with the world arround us.Language is the primary thing for our daily communication.in this discritive world we have crores of languages.but among them we mostly use english as our medium of communication.in this businness and modern world we need a common language which can be used as media of communication.except english which can be our medium of communication. so,we need to be strong in english both in hand and tongue as well.so i think it would be a better choice to introduce english as subject from standard 1 level in vernacular language schools in india.
