Why do we pretend that racial profiling doesn't exist? It happens every day here in america and its mainly perpatrated by the police. Shows like cops show you in plain sight that it happens. They pull a black guy over and imediatly pull their guns out. They pull a white guy over and you dont see the same treatment. Im black and was a victim to racial profiling. I drive a 2004 navigator and i got pulled over, Whe the cop asked for licence and reg i gave it to him and then asked what i did and his reply was well your licence plate was wiggling and you dont look like you own this truck. I said why and he said dont play dumb with me boy. Wow. I picked up my cell phone and snapped a pic of his badge and as i started to record the situation he asked what i was doing and i said that i was sending the recoring to my email to post online and to a lawyer. He asked what recording and i said the one i just did with you stating what you said. He then gave me back my licence and reg and said sorry for the trouble and left. All he had to do was run my licence and he would see that i was legit but he was being a racist and i called his bluff. I had no recording. Has something like this ever happened to you or someone you know?
