To save money there are alot of ways and one of them is buying second hand books. I know for fact that textbooks are expensive and worst the parent need to buy new textbook every year. It is better to find another parent that have kids one year bigger than yours and have you purchase the second hand books for half price and after you kids finish with studying you can sell it to your kid juniors. My parent have done the same thing and it only works if your school do not change the text book. Even they update to second edition most of the content will be the same so no need to worry about it.
Exchanging computer games with friends. Nowadays all the kid are playing computer games so if you want to save money just ask your children to borrow from you friends and copy it. That is what I do when I was small anyway.
I cannot think more but if you have more tips please fell free to post here.

One way that our family saves money is by making out a monthly meal menu for groceries. Each person gets to choose a meal for their day of the week and we add it to the grocery list. We only buy groceries once a month, excluding milk and bread as that is weekly. This saves on impulse buying and has cut our monthly grocery bill almost in half. We don't buy prepared snacks and always cook from scratch.

well that is good idea, maybe I try it next time when I move to new place. Yeah, cooking at home is cheaper than eating out side. Thanks for the reply

putting money back everytime you get money is a great tip on saving it. Also looking for the cheapest price on food and clothing is another great way.
