What is the mystery about Religion and God??

Hi friends . We belong to different religions and various parts of the world . We blindly follow the religion adopted by our parents . But do we know what is right and what is a myth?? There are so many religions that teach us so many differebt things and thus there are so many Gods to worship .. So who created us, and what is the principle and the purpose of our lives?? I want your honest opinions . This discussion is not to propogate anyone's belief and faith . It's just an intriguing fact of life!!
