Heart Problems and Impotency

Every day you hear more and more about heart problems and or medication for the heart causing impotency. I have had heart problems and diabetes for about 6 years and so far i have never had any problems with impotency. Am I just lucky or is the problem with impotency more of a mental thing with other people instead of a medical problem ? I dont remember where but sometime in the past I read an article about impotency and it stated that very rarely was impotency the result of a physical and or medical condition
