an embarrassing moment

i have an embarrassing moment, when i think of it i really feel bad. i live in USA, u know as usual when we go to other country u try to adopt they culture, so here no one keeps bindi and all, so i too keep it very rearly. one day i was shopping, an old lady, tooo old, came to me and and she thought i was an Mexican, she tried to ask something in Spanish, i said no mam i am an Indian. she stared at me and asked "r u really an Indian?" i said yes mam. then she said "i thought u Indian keep that red circled thing on your forehead." i said yes mam, we too keep it but i dint put it today, then she said," u dont follow your culture."? thats it i felt so bad on that day. from that day on i never remove the red circled thing from my forehead.
