Recently I split up with my husband. We had been together for 13 years. I think not getting a thank you plays a very important role in any relationship. We need to feel appreciated in life, and if our partner cannot give us that at the very least, then really what does that mean? I try to always say thank you to people when they do something for me, or even if it is for someone else who is close to me. I like for people to know that I appreciate what they've done, even if it is something small. Great question, thanks for asking :)

I always try to thank others but you know gals these days actually don't like being thanked particularly in relationships, you can get 'we are no strangers' or 'why do you keep saying thanks?'. I'm actually a bit confused.
