Champions League Winner 2006/2007

With the high odds for the usual names like Barcelona, Chelsea, Man U, Lyon and Arsenal, I'm just not too sure which one to bet on? Any of you would go for Inter Milan, AC Milan, Valencia, Bayern Munich, Liverpool or AS Roma, if you were in my position? I'd certainly rate your comments positive if you're convincing.......... =o)

Well, let's see mate. Barcelona are always candidates the way I see it. My hope is that Chelsea reaches the final but they're not doing so good this season, even though they've had such bad luck in CL during the last 2 seasons, so they deserve more than others. Manchester United is doing a good season and can be a real threat this year, same thing for Lyon, who I think that really deserve a big title due to their amazing 5 or 6 championships won in a row. Arsenal unfortunetly aren't so good this season, so I don't really see them reaching that far. As for Inter I think they are overrated, they sure dominate the italian league but are not such a strong side in the Champions. AC Milan, Valencia, Liverpool and Roma are also far from convincing this season and I think Bayern needs a stronger squad to be more consistent and have a chance.
So my opinion is that it'll either be Barcelona, Chelsea or Lyon, or at least that's the teams I'll be supporting. Do I get a plus? :)

The winners this year will be Man Utd as they are outstanding in the Premier League and have quality in depth. I doubt if Lyon or Inter will get through however I would doubt very much Liverpool beating Barcelona (i am a liverpool fan to boot!)
If liverpool come through against Barca then i would suggest that they then have the momentum to beat anyone

I don't think AC Milan stands so many chances, not even with the signing of Ronaldo lately. They've been very irregular this season. I think it will be really Chelsea at last...

Heh, I don't know why you think AC Milan is my fav team. My favorite italian teams are both Inter and Parma. And I agree that Roma is performing better than AC Milan this season.
