Tough to compare players from different eras, but I would agree that Dirk is the best we've had. I would put Mark Aguire second.

yes, by a mile. The mavs were a terrible team before his arrival and hardly worth a second look. He redefined the role of a power forward- that is, to shoot first on the perimiter instead of the usual low post offense.
