Personally, i am not comfortable when someone talks to me in a very tone. I am just used to listening and talking in a very medium tone. I find it very hard to catch up with what they are saying and also find it uncomfortable to ask them to repeat very often.
Are u comfortable in low tones? How do u handle without asking them to repeat what they have told.

No. I have hearing like a bat, and I'll hear what's said, but the use of the whisper or low tone I consider invasive. I dislike it intensely, even on those stupid voiceovers on TV.

Oh I am not at all comfortable with that. I have less than half the hearing in one of my ears and find that if a person is not looking at me when they are speaking, then I cannot understand what they are saying most of the time. My mother does this to me all the time at the grocery store. I always have to remind her that I'm not the vegetables and she has to speak to me not to them, LOL. I find I have to play catch up as well when people speak to softly and then I wonder if they think I take forever to answer them, lol. Most times I will just ask them to repeat themselves.
