There are alot of kids chatting with strangers online nowadays. Some parents approve it and some don't. I think sometimes it is dangerous letting your kids talking to strangers online. You might not know what will happen. Do you let your kids talk to strangers ?

The internet has become the "babysitter" that will molest your kids. Too many kids get on "social" sites, post all their personal info publically; what city the live in, what school, job locations, ect......and that's just crazy. The internet is ripe with pedophiles waiting to meet these kids by the local mall to "hang out". But, it's a statement about where society is going. (Straight to hell) When I was a kid/teen, my parents knew where I would be almost all the time, and who I was with, and when I'd be home. Now, they leave them alone for hours on the internet, let them come and go as they please, and then blame the rest of the world when little Sally who posted 12 "sexy" pics of her 14 year old self goes out and meets 4 guys in a van and then gets raped. Maybe if these peole actually tried parenting, the problem would solve itself. I wish all the "social" sites were 18+ only. It would solve a lot of problems associated with these sites, and give lazy parents fewer people to blame for their own laziness.

Very much so in my eyes...There are so many crazy people out there who do real sickening things...My son is 11years old and most the chatting he do is with his friends from school...I monitor his activity and block out anything of adult content. I also communicate with him and let him know "just if" someone get a hold of his chat name, just because they say you're friends don't mean you are friends and he should let me know asap. For parents, its good to have communication and trust with your kids...
