Yes, travel by air is the safest than any other travel channel. The changes that you can an air disaster is less than 1%. I remember reading this fact in somewhere. Additionally, it is faster and sometimes will be cheaper compare to other way.

I think its just as safe if not safer then any other form of transportation. Just think, most of us get in a car everyday. Whether behind the wheel or as a passenger. Are cars really safe? I believe that there's a lot more risk of getting into an accident while in a car then there is while being in a plane.
