Advertising is the most selling word these days. But i think, it has become a bit too much. Advertising is actually for creating awareness about the availability of a particular product.
But advertising has entered into a phase where they start forcing people with their decisions with continuous brain washing with commercials.
I , for my part become totally confused as to which product i should buy. How do u decide about which product to buy.Dont you think we are brainwashed?

yeah, it is true that they try to "brainwash" us with these commercials. whether it is they're trying to distract us with commercials which have nothing to do with the product or they make this product seem irresistable, that you must have it or you will never experience so much joy.
i usually go by reviews online or the proucts my friends have used already. take care.
ciao vicky

I try to ignore adverts when I see them, although it's very hard to do. I'm a very sceptical person and when an advert claims that "98% of women said they felt less bloated when the ate this everyday" i'm always curious to know how many people were actually surveyed (sometimes it says it in tiny writing at the bottom of the screen and it's usually a random number like 102). The thing with statistics is that you can make them say whatever you want them to say...for example, I could ask 1000 people if they'd rather feed their child beef or chocolate and then run a promotional advert claiming that 99% of parents would rather feed their children beef, i wouldn't be lying with my claim, I just wouldn't be providing the whole picture. So getting back to the point, my scepticism helps to prevent me being brainwashed, I just buy products that I hae tried and liked, if I don't like it then I don't buy it again.
