Who believes in the power of books?

even if you have not into proper education as long as you have absorb of all the books you read... it is still equivalent in fact more than what you learn in school.

I believe everyone is different in the way they comprehend and learn, whether it is from a book, school, life, or actual hands on experience.

you're right, it still depends on a person's eagerness. but still books are more credible to learn.

Sure, I've meet people that never completed a high school degree and they read a lot of books, they were so knowledgeable! So yes I do believe you can get a lot of knowledge from books even if you don't go to school.
