Why does ratings decrease?

My ratings dropped by one point on two occasion and i was not doing anything wrong just responding truthfully and not breaking any rules could it be that it was caused by someone marking me down or something?

I am sorry to hear that but it also happened to me once i was shocked even though it was by just one point. I was clueless as to the reason why because i never did anything bad but later i realized that its that minus sign after your response that persons use to derate you.

well i dont think they are decreasing in my case ! they are consistent since long ! i am at 8 and still i am on same rating ! i cant understand the judging criteria of mylot for rating ! one my referral has 111 posts and his rating is 9 !! now look this !! wht you say
