Do you think people are more selfish now

I think Peolpe now are more selfish than they used to be earlier.I think the prime reason for this is Money.

I have been realizing that people are being more selfish by the day as well. The way it works these days is that if you rub my back, I'll rub yours. And if someone does a favor to you, it's because there must be some benefits for him/her as well.
