whay do u think ipod is hit even tho we have better players ,smaller players in market?can any other company beat ipod business ?

Maybe Microsoft Zune? There is always a war between Apple and Microsoft.

I think it has something to do with marketing strategies, People tend to buy those well marketed brands even there are better brands on the market. Not just with iPods but other products. Caveat Emptor -- Latin for "Let the Buyer beware." ^_^
