Odd meetings with former Gf's or Bf's ????

I was bored the other night and couldn't sleep. So I put an add on craigslist out of sheer morbid curiosity. So I put together a list of my positive traits. On of them was that, "I'm a pretty good speller". Then in parentheses, next to it, I wrote that "now that I've said that, someone will find something I spelled wrong and email me". Well I ended up going to bed and forgetting I posted it. Well the next day I get an email telling me I spelled a word wrong. But the name on the email seemed familiar. So I wrote her back. I asked if it was so and so from the the town I grew up in. And she replied with a yes and OMG. It turns out that it was my ex girlfriend from when I was in the 9th grade. We'd stayed friends for years after but had lost touch.
My question is, has anyone else had strange meetings with old flames? Stumbled over them under off the wall circumstances? Lets hear it.

I've never experienced anything coincidental like this but my ex-fiance does stalk my reunion.com account once a week and has done so for over a year now. He's married and we haven't spoken in years so I find it pretty creepy especially because he's never written anything and I never update my profile. *shudder*
That is a cool story though!

On reunion.com you can see who visits your account and reunion sends an automatic E-mail once a week saying who visited. It's a free yet annoying feature lol. I think I'd rather not know, much like classmates.com, but I keep that account up and running because it's where my classmates organize the reunions.

mine turned out bad. my present gf had the guts to go her and just stare the whole time. this was a public restaurant.

Yeah she's single. Never did marry. Uh lets see, we will see each other again. And she brought up the meant to be thing to. lol I just don't know. She doesn't want to live where I'm likely moving to because it's too hot there. So don't see anything more than friends coming out of it. Due to the fact that I feel for once I need to concentrate on a career rather than being led around by my anatomy. lol But it was certainly an entertaining experience to say the least.

I ran into an ex a few years ago, we broke up on bad terms so I just avoided him. Glad to hear you are reconnecting with an old friend. Best of luck

I ran into my boyfriend from Kindergarden at my little brother's football game. It is a small town so I am suprised that I hadn't run into him before then, but now that I have seen him, I'm glad that I haven't run into him again.
Also, my current boyfriend and I dated for a little while in middle school, but he moved back to town over the summer and we've been back together since then.

That's pretty cool. Yeah it's strange sometimes. And there are any number of people I'm glad I didn't end up attached to.
