They joined using the main link instead! And then they mailed me and asked why should I be getting a percentage of their earnings, that there was no way they were using my referral.
I hope she's reading this. I really don't care. I've never heard of anything so petty in my life. She must think she'll be earning millions here. Well good luck to her. She'll have carpal tunnel syndrome before she gets her first 100 dollars. Muahahahah........LOL

That is just so wrong on many levels. you took the time to referr her and give your referral link the least she could have done was to use the link. I dont understand people like that. It is not like you are goingto take away from her personal earnings. Those are seperate. WOW people are so selfish these days.

I just sent her a message to ask who she has signed up as and if she realises that the referral money is not deducted from her earnings. I'm waiting to see what she'll reply back with. Maybe I didn't clarify it.

Man that is dirty, I must say. Then I have to ask, what did you do to her? LOL
Well like you said, don't worry about it, it's not like she is going to get rich here. Besides Karma has a way of coming back on people. Just set back and watch. :-)

Hey lol, I just can help laughing at this post. Some people are somewhat ungrateful for any act of goodness. What your referral did was nothing but selfisness. tjhe person is someone that would never allow anybody to benefit from them. I mean such person can never be a channel of blessing. I think this should be a lesson for us all whren we think of inviting our friends to be partner with us in matters involving money.

Well, I'm just waiting to hear back from her now to see did she think that the money I would get would actually be taken out of her own earnings. Hopefully she's not as bad as I think she could be. LOL

Tis such a shame that we trust someone to participate in the manner you chose and then they go and pull that. Too bad you cannot notify management and they put a no referral mark on their account for doing that. Don't wish the bad things since multiplied 10 times they come back to you!! Wouldn't want that kind of malady to affect you!! Am disappointed in them too!!

I didn't wish anything bad to happen to her. I stated that she will probably have carpal tunnel syndrome before she gets $100 - it is after all a possibility.

Was it someone that you know personally? Hmmmm, if it is I would be puzzled as to their attitude, its smacks of not wanting to do someone else a favour or a good turn. I would be very wary of such a person and any dealings I have with them in any capacity. This might seem like a silly question but, am I correct in saying that when you refer someone and they join that you don't get any percentage of their earnings? I thought you got a few cents or so! Ignore that person in future, don't respond to their pedantic email.

Has she actually signed up with MyLot? If not, I would try explaining to her, that she will not have to pay any of her earnings to you, and that you will just receive a percentage based on what she earns. It could be that she just misunderstood you. If she really doesn't want you to gain from her earnings, then just forget about her. MyLot is all about making friends and helping each other.

Actually, I thought Mylot matched a quarter of the referral's earnings and gave it to you. That's not the same thing as getting a percentage of HER earnings. Am I wrong about this????

That's so pathetic! I mean, come on! She's earning something that she wouldn't be getting if it wasn't for you, and yet she's completely unprepared to help you in return?
That's so selfish!
What's the point in something so petty?

Well, that's very mean. I don't understand why she wouldn't sign up using your referral. I mean that won't harm her. On top of that the extra 25% is not from her earning. It's the extra you will get but that won't be deducted from her earning. Well I had the same thing too. 3 of my referrals didn't sign up using my referral. So yeah!! I had the same experience.

Its because that everyone gets jealous that we know that our money wont be deducted from our account but why that girl or that boy is earning for free by our hard works. Thats the only reason and most of us who are aware about this matter thinks about that.

Wow, that's really rude. My brother-in-law referred me to MyLot and he even offered to give me the 25% that he earned off of me. I refused it because I'm glad that he introduced me to MyLot, not only do I like the money that I earn, I like the discussions and the community of MyLot.
Sorry to hear that she was so petty.

Some people don't seem to understand what referrals are all about, seem to think that the money is taken away from them, when it only goes to the site owners. Referrals are what most paying sites are all about, because its almost impossible to earn a great deal without them.
If she is that greedy then she probably won't stay very long when she realises that there is a lot of work required to earn from this site, in which case you are probably better off not having her in the first place.
Bet she asks to be your friend though.

Maybe I'm mistaken but it doesn't take any money away from what she makes does it? I was in the beliefe that when you sign up under a referral link you earn 25% of what they make, you don't take 25% of what they make do you?

This shows the selfishness of a person and the narrow-mindedness and narrow-heartedness that follows!
It is sad to see many people living in the world of scarcity- the belief that there is not enough to go around, so why share?
Because of this belief, they live to it- fighting for every tiny morsel of "benefit" that they get their hands on.
Unfortunately, what goes round comes around. Since they are only looking at the benefit for themselves, they forget that we humans are social beings. We grow and prosper through the synergy uniquely created by each other, and thus can also be destroyed by the negative vibes that rips through the society.
So let them stick in their own world of limited opportunities due to their narrow-mindedness.
What comes round, goes around. Sooner or later, others will realize their selfishness and shy away from them.
