Should sachin play in opening or one down or any other positions?

Sachin a great batsman he has openly admitted that he would like to play as a opener so that he can gather some quick runs but now as dravid had told that he wants in him in the middle to strong up the middle order he has accepted to play in other positions . Is that right for sachin what is your comments about that?

sachin should be in the middle order as he has not been successful in the opening pair. he is a good player and can consolidate the innings if he stays for long in middle order. he plays spin well so he should be kept such that he gets more chance to play spinners.

yes it's true that sachin is not playing as well as earlier in opening slot and there are options of gambhir, sehwag and ganguly. Sachin can provide immense strenth to Indian middle order along with the skipper Rahul Dravid.

sachin should open the innings. but now days sachin is out of form. so he need rest.

Its time for him to retire. He must go home and open his family battings. Let the youngsters do that job.

One player who should open only is Ganguly, now sachin can play good at both opening position and at one down. i think if sehwag is in form and playing than he should open the innings with saurav ganguly and if sehwag can't than there is no better option than sachin tendulkar. i personally wanna see sachin and ganguly to open the Indian innings in world cup.

i think sachin should open innings as he has best batting average as opener only...
