save my computer from hackers

Number One Thing: Good AntiVirus and Anti Spyware software, and a good firewall. Number 2: Accept that is is a rare occurence to find an actual "Free Ipod, TV, Laptop, ect", these are scams to get your email so they can send you crap. Have one email for you and your friends/business associates; and one for signing up for stuff. Keep the real email and the crap separated. Best to NOT use email clients, Outlook, Eudora, ect because if you are not internet savvy, you can leave important settings open to attack. Don't go to "crap" sites, stay with the well known sites. NEVER believe that Nigerian guy who says a relative left you 2.8 million, all he wants your bank info for is to clean out your account. Tread carefully into cyberspace, and watch your step.

Im afraid there is no simple trick to stopping hackers, Just be cautious with everything you do

just install an antivirus & scan your pc daily or a least once a week.

first install a firewall on you computer and deslect the option for file sharing under the network settings ,,,keep changing your passwords......not to be suggested if still problem occurs change you LAN card

i recommend u use Zone Alarms security suite and put your computer to stealth mode.
