Should you get a tax break if you send your child to private school?

So, tax time is here, and I was wondering about how people felt about paying taxes that support public schools, if you send your child to a private school? Is it fair? Do you think that you should get a tax refund if you send your kids to private schools? What if the public school is sub-par in thier education, and not passing minimum state requirements?
