What Do You Do When You Are stuck In Traffic?

LOL! That sounds like an awesome time, having a barbeque to pass the time in a traffic jam. Wow. I love it! ^_^ I wish that I had been there. You surely lightened up the mood for a lot of people who would've been getting in a pretty bad mood from having to wait so long. I really haven't ever done anything that special while stuck in a traffic jam. Mostly I just keep listening to the radio and trying to find songs that I like to amuse myself until the traffic starts clearing up. That being said, I only remember being really stuck in traffic once in the last ten years, but we were stuck for what felt like quite awhile.

i fell tense if i am in hurry. i feel relax if i am wandering.

When I am stuck in traffic most times i try to find myself a good cd and hope that it can get me through. Or sometimes I will call someone on the phone and hope that we can talk unitl I get out of the traffic and that it makes the time go faster, but most times I just sit there frustrated wondering why I am not moving lol.

I just curse myself for taking up such a route.other than this what else can i do?

i listen to my mp4 player or read a book, newspaper or anything that is readable or even count the people passing by to kill my time waiting for the traffic to end.

I dont have the car, but i do have the bike. When you have the bike, the only option remains to just hang out there and listen to your favorite music....

I usually listen to the radio or listen to my cd while in traffic. Sometimes I will talk on my cell phone with family or friends telling them not to take this particular road at this time of the day. LOL It does bother me a bit when it is really long and not moving at all. That is funny that you were able to barbeque while stuck in traffic.

Sing songs, listen to the radio or my CD's make phone calls, Pray, Talk to other people, go through my purse, read mail or book.

Have you ever visit my country? Indonesia... Try to visit Jakarta our capital. And you'll seen what the real meaning of traffic jam. Here milion of motorcyles posses the road as like as ant posses its way. What we could do then? We can turn on the radio, read our late newspaper, and even get some extra sleep time! Yes, once upon a time i slept over 2 hours during a traffic jam... You'll enjoy that!! believe me hehehehe....

For me, I'll have some snack in my car. I always keep some snacks in my car for "emergency" use,haha! By eating snacks,I can pass the period of time more leisurely. Also,I'll listen to music or radio playing my favorite songs or interesting station program.May be this will not be suitable for those girls who are keeping fit cause eating a lot snack will not make you all fit, too much calories in it.lol.

If there is like jam or something and iam with my friends then they have a lot of music stuff in their car.We mostly have a guitar with us.Thats what we need music even yew put us in sahara with sufficient food and water for living we wont get bored if we have these things ;).

I take the oppurtunity to trun my Fm on and listen to some music.... thats the only time i get to cathc on my music

When I stuck in traffic, I might try to see if I can get away from the stand still situation because I think its quite boring being trapped in certain vehicle. But if the situation doesnot allow me to leave at once, I might call my friends with my mobile phone and chat with them about anything until the unfavourable condition is over.

there is nothing to do, u have to wait with pecence, every body has to go faster than other, no body has time. every body has to reach at his achievement point in a particular time, & way is one. so all have to go together.

Nice one, that's the way to treat traffic jams! I'm not as cool as that I'm afraid - I just get angry and overheated. That's why I don't drive a car anymore and travel everywhere by motorcycle! www.AddAnImage.com

what do i do when stuck in traffic. i watch tv from my phone. some time i sing a song. talking with my friends in my phone. surfing internet with my phone.

I listen to music, and try and do anything, such as cleaning underneath my seat, finish homework, or read that book I keep on forgetting in my car. Sometimes I just roll down my window and strike up a conversation with others, calms them down and gives me something to do.

I drive a lot. I know that I am going to hit traffic and I try to plan accordingly. I makes sure I have extra time to allow for it. Since I drive so much, I discovered hte joy of audio books. I love to read, but I'm not going to read and drive. I just listen to the books. I have also been known to sing in the car. I also direct a dance group so I listen to that music and go over choreography. I also chat on my cell phone, I couldn't make it without my headset.
