Glad the Eagles had the opportunity to give him one last spanking, just heard that he resigned! Poor guy probably had visions of turning them into the team they used to be. Think he'll stay retired, or go somewhere else? Go Eagles (next year!!)

I just heard the same thing as I am watching the news in the DFW area and wow I am surprised to hear it - but in the end could really careless as I hate the Cowboys!!!! And you are so right - watching the Eagles beat the boys was great!!!! Actually love it all the time they lose and was so glad they didn't even make it to the playoffs!!!! I think he might actually retire for good - but there's really no telling with the way these coaches jump around!!!!

I have a lot of respect for Parcells. He added some great rivalry quality to the NFC East. The NFC had some great coaches going head-to-head regularly. It was awesome to see those games on NFL Sunday Ticket. Go Eagles! Go NFC East!

I do not feel that he is retired for good as I think he is planning on either coaching another team or be in a management position elsewhere or be an analyst on tv. We have not seen the last of him though I do not care since I am a Eagles fan. I think T.O. and Jerry Jones both drove him out of there.
