Friends on MyLot ....

i always excpet people who want to add me as their friends...i mean why not? sometimes i look at the discussions they have posted, to c if they post ne interesting ones

I check their articles and comments first to see if they have the same intersts as me. I will read some of their discussions and commnet on them. If I feel comfortable with them, I accept the friend invitation.

When I first began I accepted everybody. Later I removed lots of them because they always answered with a yes or no type answer and had no interesting discussions. Now I check and see if they have discussions I'm interested in or their best responses. Now with the rating system, the star with the number next to your name, I like to join up with with people who are 9 or 10's, as I know they will most likely give good responses and post good discussions. If people ask for approval and they are pretty new, I give them awhile to see if they get better at responses and discussions after a little time has passed.

I used to just accept people but now I am going back through my list because I have changed my policy. I will look at age, location, and whether they are male or female. Once I do that I will look at a few of their posts and interests. I will probably not add anyone who has less than a certain number of posts, but I haven't figured out what that number will be, because it will be the least important item I will use.

Yes, I usually do that as well. checking mylot friends pending response discussions and If I can relate to their topics or discussions, I did response then... I always Accept them If they want me to be one of their Friends. :)

Yes if someone is pending on my friends list, I usually always accept. I always go and check out their discussions and try to respond on as many as I can.

I, mainly, do that always!.

Most of the people who send friend request, I do accept as long as they don't have 0 post. I make sure that the notify button is on for my friend and I get the mail when they start new discussions. I go through all those mails and give replies to those discussions in whic I am interested in or I can put some valuable words.

I'm just accept first..And checking on their topic or discussion..And comment on their discussion..So easy..

Yes, I am on this forum for three days, and I have only two friends at the moment, but I think that when somebody asks to become your friend, it's really interesting to go to have a look around his/her worlds....

I check to see their discussion topics and alos their profile. I also see if they have ever repsonded to any of my discussions. I've had a couple people request me only to send me spam!
