I must say that randy and simon are being way to rude this year! What's your opinion?

I was thinking about this earlier today. In a serious way, maybe too serious. I saw the two young boys on the "Today Show" this morning. The one where Simon commented on his eyes, and said he kind of looked like a bush baby, and his friend, the heavy set young guy who is slightly autistic.
I was more appalled by that display than what happened at American Idol last week. When I watched it last week I was not so much amused as sorry, but not just for the contestants but for the judges also. In the first episode they said that 10,000 people showed up in Minniapolis(I am spelling it wrong) and only 17 got through.
What? Can you image, even if you were the most compassionate person in the world, having to watch maybe hundreds or even thousands of people who think they can sing but can not. I really don't think that Simon, Randy or Paula were meaner then they have been in previous seasons.
But what if they saw hundreds of people who were bad and did not say anything mean, cruel but just" Sorry, you are not for us." What if the people editing the show decided not to show that but the 20 or so people they lost their patience with and said something nasty to.
About those young guys, they have agents now. What? I saw their auditions they can't sing? How did they get agents? I guess the reason why seeing them this morning on the "Today Show" bothered me more than seeing them on American Idol was because I felt they were being patronize, and being led to believe something that was not true. Mainly that what Randy, Paula and Simon said, that they are not good enough for the show," was false. That because they treated badly that means that all of what Simon, Randy and Paula said was untrue. They may have said it too unkindly but one thing is for sure they can not sing.
I am embarrassed that I went on and on about a television show.

I don't really watch this show and I'm not too into it... I usually catch the clips on ET or The insider! :) From what I have seen on the clips, they are being pretty mean and I don't like that negativity in my life. :) So I stay away from it.

I think they are just trying to keep the rating strong, stir up some controversy and such. but I still think it is a solid show
